Buffalo Cannabis Network publishes local reporting, explainers, event coverage, and practical information about cannabis in Buffalo and Western New York.
What we publish
BCN focuses on the people, businesses, rules, and market changes that affect the region. Editorial coverage is separate from paid placements, member listings, sponsorships, and advertising.
How we report
We identify the people and organizations involved, check important details against primary sources when available, and link to source material when another outlet, public record, agency, or organization informs a story. We distinguish reported facts from analysis and clearly label uncertainty when details are not confirmed.
Sources and attribution
BCN may use public records, government and regulatory materials, direct conversations, company statements, event information, and reporting by other outlets. We attribute outside reporting and do not present another outlet’s work as our own.
Corrections and updates
If we publish a material error, we correct the page and add a note when the change affects the meaning of the story. We may update articles when facts change, a project moves forward, a regulation is clarified, or a source provides important new information. The published and modified dates should reflect those changes.
Editorial and commercial separation
Paid placements and sponsored material are identified. Advertising, membership, sponsorship, or business relationships do not guarantee coverage or a favorable editorial conclusion.
Authors
Articles carry a visible author byline. Author pages provide available background, published work, and relevant external links. BCN does not use anonymous bylines to conceal a commercial relationship or a material conflict.
